Greetings from Bar La Cage,
October is almost upon us and the Soi is a buzz with everyone getting ready for high season. We have a busy month ahead so I do hope you will find something of interest and I look forward to greeting you in the bar very soon.
The 1st of October, being the first Friday of the month is extra busy. Not only is it our regular Supper Night, it is our Quiz Night. You can enjoy a traditional Chip Shop supper of Fish & Chips, Steak & Kidney Pudding or half a Roast Chicken. All are served with chips or mashed potato and two slices of bread with butter for only 140 Baht! Served at 8.30pm.
You will then have time to digest your supper before engaging your brain at 9.30 for the Quiz. It's a fun way to exercise the old grey matter and win prizes! Just 100 Baht to enter we are looking for teams of 2-4 people. Come and give it a try, and make new friends.
Sunday 3rd. is our Oktoberfest and German Party Night. We celebrate the fine tradition of the Munich Oktoberfest, 200 years old this year and the 20th anniversary of German reunification, with our own Beer Festival. Featuring a range of quality German Beers on offer with free Bratwurst, German party music and lots of fun! Everyone Welcome.
Tuesday 5th is Tom's Birthday. Our longest serving "boy" has yet another Birthday! You are all invited to the Party.
On Wednesday 20th. Rose and her friends give us another fine music party. She is a quality act, and is highly recommended.
We have a Wine & Cheese Special on Wednesday 27th. A carafe of our house wine and a cheese supper for only 180 Baht. I don't know how I do it for the price!
And last but by no means least on Sunday 31st. we have our Halloween party. The bar is transformed into a creepy crypt, where Ghoulies and Ghosties roam. Lots of silliness all night. Come if you dare!!
