WORLD'S LONGEST KISS

Called into Royal Garden Plaza this Sunday (Feb 13). Normally call in on a Sunday as I like to mix with the happy and friendly Russian tourists as they try to barter for a KFC meal!!!

Anyway to my surprise I came across the Longest Continuous Kiss Guinness World Record Attempt at the Louis Tussard entrance.

In amongst the 14 couples I spotted these two young gentleman . . .


As you can see from the above photo they have been at it for nearly 13 hours and the current record stands at 32 hours 7 minutes and 14 seconds.

During the record attempt contestants are not allowed to sit, sleep or leave the venue and they have to even carry on kissing when visiting the toilet accompanied by staff (I did volunteer for this job, but my offer was declined!).

Contestants are allowed to take water and food through straws, but their lips have to remain locked together.

The winners will receive a diamond ring valued at £1,000 and a £2,000 cash prize.
