Taking place at the Pattaya Sports Stadium, it is the first ever ITTF Premium Junior Circuit event to be held in Thailand and will see up to 170 players - including local star Tamolwan Khetkuen - taking part in competitive matches.
Singles, doubles and team events will be taking place in the junior and cadet categories, as well as singles events in the Hopes category.
Competitors will be playing for a chance to win their share of a massive $21,800 (£13,700) prize pot offered by the Thailand Table Tennis Association, which represents a record total.
Organisers have promised a "splendid tournament in a magnificent setting", with the action taking place against the backdrop of one of Asia's premier beachfront holiday destinations.
The ITTF Premium Junior Circuit is a prestigious tournament circuit that involves the best young players from around the world, with the Thailand open set to be followed immediately by the Spanish Junior and Cadet Open in Platja d'Aro.
