The Trocks in Bangkok May 9 -12

The multi-award winning dance phenomenon Les Ballets Trockadero de Monte Carlo returns to Bangkok in May 2012.

From ThaiTicketMajor: "Known affectionately by their fanbase as The Trocks, the all-male company of 14 perform classical ballet excerpts – both male and female roles – to dazzling and hilarious effect.

"Celebrating both the beauty and the essential absurdity of classical ballet, The Trocks' combination of pure comedy, extraordinary technical prowess and genuine love of ballet has made them a global phenomenon since they formed in New York in 1974.

"They return to Bangkok with a fabulous new program – including Swan Lake Act II and Raymonda's Wedding. Dancing a fine line between high art and high camp, Les Ballets Trockadero de Monte Carlo is a 'masterpiece not to be missed'."

The Trocks will be appearing at Royal Paragon Hall which is on the 5th Floor Siam Paragon Shopping Center, 991 Rama 1 Road, Phathumwan Bangkok 10330, from May 9 to May 12.

Daily perfomances start at 7.30pm with an extra performance on Saturday May 12 at 2pm. Tickets cost 3,000 Baht, 2,500 Baht, 1,700 Baht.
