Open Auditions for 'Inspector Drake and the Perfekt Crime' by David Tristram
Pattaya Players (Home of Pattaya's Professional Amateurs) is proud to announce their upcoming audition for 'Inspector Drake and the Perfekt Crime' by David Tristram. There are 5 parts for 3 adult males and 2 adult females of varying ages.
Synopsis: When a genius commits murder, the plan is perfect. But is it foolproof? The legendary Inspector Drake is here to face his greatest ever challenge, as he attempts to unravel a plot with more twists in it than a Bavarian pretzel!
Auditions will be held at The Eastern Grand Palace Hotel at 6:30 PM on Tuesday, June 19, 2012. All interested parties both talent-wise and back stage should plan on attending. Character Descriptions (please note that casting ages are flexible):
Dr. Short – a genius scientist who is rather eccentric but not clever enough to beat the legendary Inspector Drake – middle aged male
Sergeant Plod – Old school dopey sergeant – any age male
Inspector Drake – Young & flirty, insistent on getting his leg over whenever possible. Needs to be an energetic and physically capable actor with excellent comedic timing necessary – male younger than the Sergeant
Sabrina – Dr. Short's daughter, (or is she?). Feisty and sassy. Fairly large role – any age female
Miss Short – Dr. Short's daughter (or is she?). Similar to Sabrina, but not as big of a part – any age female
